oil level
What is the limits on oil level in a 2005 C230K. I think I have seen 120-100 mm but I would like to have that confirmed (or corrected!!). I have
searched everywhere but no luck. I know of course about the info on the dash but I like to see it on a stick.
Ordered an oil-stick online. Waited 3 weeks. Turned out it was not for my 2005 C230K,
with a very crooked oil-tube. Used instead a coaxial cable (black). Measured oil-level at 104 mm. Drove the car around the block. Drained the oil using an electric gasoline pump that I used a long time ago for pumping auto-gas in my Cessna. Pumped out 5 quarts. Put in 5 quarts fresh oil. Ran the engine. Waited 30 min. Dash said oil-level OK.
Measured on my 'stick', 98 mm.
Still do not know what the full level should be, 120mm????
