Help me identify these wires on the passenger side

Hey guys. I just got a 2002 C320. The fog lamps were left disconnected by the guy that replaced the bumper (previous owner) also the passenger fog lamp wires were cut for the passenger side. However there are 2 more wires, thinner, that I don't what they go to. Can someone trace theirs for me?

The skinny green and brown are the ones i cant ID

Does it go to a front impact sensor? Anyone available to take a pic? The one I found is black and white. I suspect the sensor is missing and they cut the wire

I'm pretty sure those are the wires to a temperature probe, which is located next to the fog light. Does your instrument cluster display some nutty temperature?

Looks like they snipped the connectors too. Why do people do this to their cars?

That was it. LOVE the Blue slammer! I got a new switch and got the wires for the harness then clipped it together. I should have done pics but my kids were screaming and fighting lol. There were a few other things I wondered.

1. So according to the service tech at the dealer, the 2002 did not have front impact sensors. Can anyone confirm this? There is 1 other harness small 2 prong on the bottom cross member in the very front. Antone know if that goes to anything important?

2. I dont have a hood light when I open the hood, should there be one? Where does it connect?

Thanks for the kind words.

I would imagine there must be some sensor in the front bumper that tells the front airbags to deploy during a collision. Maybe someone with access to a parts diagram would be able to tell you more. I can usually get them from the parts people at the dealer if I ask nicely, so you might want to give that a try. Just did a quick search online but couldn't find anything showing the sensor in question.

The W203 doesn't have a hood light. MB doesn't design their cars to be worked on by regular people.
