Diesel pouring out of the fuel pipes! Change it to rubber tubes?
Found out that it was because of leaks from the plastic diesel pipes that goes from the diesel filter and to the high pressure pump. Because of the cracked pipes, air gets into the system, also pressure is lost.
After 10-50sec turning the starter the car usually fires up. But when it starts there is a steady stream of diesel from the plastic pipe and down on the belts.
Weird thing is, when the engine gets warm the leak stops, so the car is kind of drivable.

I have ordered a new pipe. But tomorrow im going on vacation and I wanted to fix the problem, atleast improve it temporarly. What I wanted to do was maybe change the plastic pipes with high pressure rubber tubing and use hose clamps on the barbed ends of the connecting parts.
Does anyone have an insight into if this would work. Would a hose clamp on the plastic stand up to the pressure?
One of the pipes in question. Leak is from the white plastic tube.
