Clicking noise in dashboard after starting my car

i have a clicking noise that last for a minute and the clicking is very fast not separate by any delay coming from the dashboard beside the ignition when i start my car c240 2002 this does not always happen sometime it does sometime it doesn't i tried to re sync the air condition flaps with no success.
but while the flaps are synchronizing no clicking occur beside the card everything is fine in the air condition and the ignition . what could it be ???
please help

That would be a stepper motor or stepper motor or stepper motor actuator arm. Just replaced one this past weekend. It's a very detailed job but not overly difficult. Check his thread:

I have the same problem in my 04 c240, started a month ago. Never happens when driving, only once the initial time it happened. I havent got it repaired yet but haven't experienced a problem
