coolant leak from back of m271 engine/motor..w203(solution)
1-so what u need is a e10 socket and ratchets...and a flat head..
2-drain coolant from bottom of radiator until there is none left in resvior.
3-take off the top motor cover and just lay on top of the motor.
I used a bucket lol
4-use flat head screw driver to loosen clamp
5- i used a longer ratchet that bends left to right to unscrew the bolt.after that i used a small ratchet ..
after the bolt came out the water coolant pipe fell in my hand. it was that bad ...the results.... any questions and help lmk..i hope this helps ..i did it with out any problems

We've already have a number of post on this issue,... its due to plastic parts weakening and becoming brittle due to age and heat exposure,.... thus likely other plastic parts in engine bay about to leak as well,... so you should replace them before they become issues leaving you stranded on the side of the road,...

hey thanks for putting all these on my thread..great info...i did all those already on my car because they were very obvious..the toughest coolant line for me was on the back of the motor and the only thing i removed was the engine cover lol..
