I posted a picture in the other thread.

It's clear to me the routing of the belt.

Still, if you want the info from WIS, see the attached document.

RedGray, why is the front of the engine so dirty? Looks like you have a really nasty oil leak up top somewhere. Might want to look into it.

Looks clean to me.

Seriously, thanks for the noticing and saying something!

When I bought the car, I knew it'd need a new cylinder head. It had a miss-fire pending.
What I didn't know was that MB was such an **()*(&()&*() and they shut-off the cylinder when they detect a "formal" miss-fire error. Thankfully, I was able to drive the car 100+ miles, before I got the OBD-II error. I think it was because of the gas I used (Gulf hi-test - they sell Gulf on Mass-Pike).

The car had 2 previous owners. Each one used the car as a good-weather only car. The car has never been driven in the winter. Imho, it's easy for someone like me to tell if a has been driven in the winter.

Up until ~2 years ago, the car was always serviced by a MB Dealership. The previous owner had their child about 2 years ago. After that, it seems like they brought the car to an independent (no Dealer service visits on the car fax).

Imho, the independent they brought the car to was/is a hack. I don't know if that mechanic, or any of them at the shop are ASE certified mechanics. But, a hack worked on the car's engine.
For some reason, the hack took off the top plastic valve cover and put it back on with all of the care and ability of a spastic 2 year-old.

There were many other things that are just plain WTF on the engine.

What ever!!
I was planning on doing a head replacement anyways. I was hoping to do that in 2018 (with ~300 - 500 miles of driving in 2017). But, imho, the car is un-driveable when MB shuts down the injector after a miss-fire. So, I started the restoration early. And, my Stang will have to wait another year before I can start on chipping away at the boat-load of mods/upgrades that have been piling up in my basement.

My Stang and I have known each other for over 30 years! So, my Stang understands.
