2001 mercedes program rear sam?
Can any rear sam module basically be reprogrammed for my vehicle, or does it have the be the exact model 0025459701? I have a couple that are identical but different part numbers. I've tried to search sorry if this has been covered.

I swapped my rear SAM on my s203 C180TK -05 (2035453101), to one from a w203 -03 220CDI (2095450701), and it works perfectly. An other guy over here swapped his w203 C200 -01 to one from a w203 -07 220CDI. Only issue he got was the fuel gauge not working. That one needed re-programming (have no idea why, as fuel gauge should be present on all w203...).
It seems like you can use one from any w203, but I'm unsure wether the donor needs to have same or more equipment than the pasient. I would guess that they don't build separate ones for the different equipment levels, but that it's rather the programming that are done differently. But better safe than sorry. Look for one that has the same or more equipment if possible.
