ESP out of order
I don´t know if it´s somehow related but last weekend i had to replace the battery and the one-touch passenger window and the sunroof stoped working, they work but i need to keep the buttons pressed

I dont think the ESP and the windows/ sunroof issues are connected since the EPS legend appeared before the battery replacement, but then again who the f*ck knows

Could you guys give me a hand with some hints?? The car´s year is 06 and the odometer reads 79000km (49000 miles).

Post #85 especiallyThe thing is that the ESP sign appeared before replacing the battery. Anyway, i'll do the turning thing with the steering wheel and let you know.
Wish me luck!!!
Hope this has been helpful in case this is what's going on with your W203.

I had an ESP error on my dash for such a long time until the price of those modules came down to an affordable price used. New they are like $700.

Thanks!
And some days ago i discovered the cruise control is not working either, i suppose it's all connected, am i right?
However I am guessing it might be C1140 Steering angle sensor (translated from Dutch). Had this too and was due to battery failure. I reset the codes and now comes back as C1142 ESP brake sensor.
From what I gathered on internet common ESP issues on these cars are due to faulty brake sensors (I picked a new one up for 9 euro's) , tyre pressure or bad alignment, and in more extreme cases the ESP computer or steering angle sensor

I'll try to find the info for you.
HAve you had the codes read with DAS yet?
I went for years with bad YAW sensor till I had the codes read with DAS and found out the it was the YAW sensor.
