If you ask me it's worth it. I put mine on 2 1/2 years ago when the car was new and the front end looks brand new. If you compare that with the windshield and grill which has a little pin ***** every 1/2 inch from the sand and rock debris. There are 2 rock chips further back on the un-protected part of the hood and a couple around the edges of the clear bra, but what can you do cover the whole car in it.

I wish I had done it but I didn't know about it then. Now my front is all chipped up. I had my Chevy truck done and the front looks great after driving it for a year. I would do it on my next car for sure. I know it's expensive on the C because of all the curves and amount of plastic used. The truck was $130.

I did it to my car in Jan. It turned out fine. BUT, I might not do it next time. Reason being: lets say we own our cars for 3-4 years, if we were to spend $3-500 doing the clear bra, for the same amount of money, we can get the whole bumper repainted on the 2nd year. Who cares what our bumper looks like when we sell it.

Harris, so your suggestion is to not do it? I plan on keepin my car for a while. There are chips there now and stuff but the detail guy said he will do it up nice so that all that will be gone....

I haven't seen it taken off either, and I'm sure despite it being 'clear' there'll be a line or some sort of paint colour difference between the area covered and the rest of the car.
Then again, sure a bumper repaint is about the same, yet repainting the hood, fenders and bumper and maybe even replacing the grill is expensive.
If I had it to do over again, I'd get the entire hood done, that should be relatively inexpensive.

I had mine done and I would do it again. I can see little dings where the paint would have been torn up if not for the bra. I even gave the guy I went to a few extra dollars and had the body around the fuel filler door (you can't pump your own gas in OR!) and the bumper below the hatch and the areas where the roof racks clip on done. Works great!
It's not just the bumper that gets protected. The front wheel flares and the mirrors also get the treatment. You'd have to paint the whole front clip to get the results this treatment gives you.
