Coolant temp and Radiator fan
Hello All,
Been a lurker for a long time, absorbing all of the amazing DIY posts.
I have a 2005 c230k. Yesterday the coolant reservoir pipe broke off and lost all coolant. Barely made it back home and replaced the coolant reservoir.
Now, the coolant temperature reads in the range of 100-117c. Radiator fan is on high. Reader did not throw any codes in regards to coolant sensor or such. Could someone please shed some light on the possibilities of why this might be? I have read that maybe the ECU could be bad.
Thanks in advance!

First try fixing your broken coolant reservoir pipe and filling all the lost coolant,.... before you start replacing ECU. Oh, and change your thermostat while you're at it.
