can anyone say how much the torque must be for the central nut after replacing the bearing?

You list that you drive a W208.
Did you accidentally post in the wrong forum? This is the W203 forum.
Regardless, you should always indicate the year and model. Since there are a number of each, for each platform.

I just tightened the crap out of it, didn't have a torque wrench that went that high. I managed to get it back to where the stake on the nut lined up with the notch in the axle...someone will chime in on the torque required..

the w203 is from 2004
