P0715 and P0730 Check Engine Codes
Hi. I've searched the forum and haven't found any information exactly similar to my problem.
I own a 2004 Mercedes Benz C320C. It has 104k miles. I have two check engine codes. They are P0715 and P0730. I received the diagnostics codes from Autozone, and looked up the codes, but I don't have an in depth problem of what exactly the issue might be because here's the issue.
THE CAR DOES NOT ACCELERATE in reverse nor drive. If it's "in" reverse it doesnt even roll back. If it's "in" drive it doesn't even roll forward. If I turn the car off, start it back up, put it in drive or reverse, it still doesn't accelerate.
However, if put the key in and turn it to the second position and leave it there for about 30 seconds and then start the car and put it in drive or reverse, I can then drive it... for about 50 feet, and then it loses all acceleration again. I can do this time and time again and it will keep losing acceleration every time. The car is completely undriveable.
So, with that being the main issue with the car, what does that say the problem is concerning the codes P0715 and P0730?

Out Of Control!!
Those are generic transmission fault codes---you need factory or equal software to interrogate the TCU to determine the problem and go from there. Find someone with a copy of DAS or Vediamo!

Check plug & control unit
Pull the transmission plug to the transmission housing and check for fluid leak. If it's leaking see if the transmission fluid has wicked its way up to the control unit in the engine bay. My guess is that you'll have to replace the conductor plate at the very least.

Before condemning conductor plate and other expensive parts, if it was my car, I'd first check the level of transmission fluid. Check around the trans pan and the electrical connector for fluid leaks. If there are any leaks, address those leaks, clean the entire area, make sure proper amount of trans fluid is filled, reset the codes, and go from there.

Update
Well, no one is probably concerned with this post any longer, but as so said I would post an update.
Mechanic did a diagnostic and found the computer was not communicating with the transmission, so he reprogrammed the computer. But, he told me if it ends up having the same problem, then I'll need a new computer.
So, it drove fine for about 50 miles, then begin having the same problem. So, it'll need a new computer. But, I was going to sell the car anyway. So, if you're in California I'm selling it for $3000.
