06 C350 4Matic
transfer case issues
Hi there,

I have a 06 c350 4matic with 47k miles. I've started to notice a whining noise coming from the car. It can be heard especially around 40mph. My mechanic said its the transfer case going.

Any ideas or suggestions? Will changing the fluid help possibly? If not is it recommendable to get a rebuilt or reconditioned one? And how much is an apx. repair cost for something like this?
