My 2003 c240 wagon has severe 'swerve" car drive straight as an arrow but the body is swinging side to side


imagine two hands on the wheel and your *** swinging back and forth that's what its doing


it did NOT do it with snow tires I put the summers on and it started summers are new last year continental contacts DWS on factory rims


had the tires rebalanced they are perfect now problem seems worse....


any ideas where to start?


the tire shop said the snows being different compounds and stiffness can hide a lot of stuff that the continentals wont


I have last year replaced both front lower control arms all 4 springs were done in last 2 years

so Its been in the shop all day and they can find NOTHING wrong shocks struts are fine no worn suspension parts no worn steering parts they are checking tires now but this would be the third time tires have been checked at 3 different shops


the car is un drivable and I cant find anything wrong?????

did that same problems!!!
but got it back today


they found a bad balljoint end on the ft lateral arm left side rear end got it up to 8kms on way home no sway too much traffic to hit hwy maybe tomorrow but I think its fixed
