m271 slide rail pin removal problem diy

learnt a lot on this site to remove my head (slipped t chain bent valves)
thought I will give my little bit back
when trying to get my cylinder head off my w203 m271. I could not get the timing chain slide rail pin extracted. Tried the 10 mm bolt with 6mm nut trick but it would not budge. Eventually got the pin out with some modifications.
I did not have the correct tools such as slide hammer.

items required
1x 10mm bolt good quality ( bolt you screw into the pin about 15mm or until just tight)
1x nut good quality ( nut you turn to extract pin)
1x 10mm spacer nut or 10mm socket
1x washer

if pin wont budge
careful with hammer swings touching engine plus radiator

1x turn buckle
1x hammer ( gently tap turn buckle a few times- stop re tighten 6mm extraction nut - repeat until pin out)
1x spanner ( bigger the better)
1x 6mm ( to tighten 6mm bolt to turn buckle)
a few more 10mm nuts or bigger

see pics for more info use at own risk
