Production Roll Out of 2005 C-Class 230K Sedan
Most of the options remain the same. Diamond Black is the only 'new' color as far as I can tell. No more "Comfort Package" or "Rear Seat Package" as both have been turned into individual options. The only options changes that i noted were the addition of the DVD COMAND system (which also says 'delayed availability) next to it) and the "Entertainment Package" which hosts a 320 watt Harmon/Kardon sounds system and 6-disc changer.
Hope that helps, pal.
For example, the old "Comfort Package" is now an individual option with a power driver's seat/ steering column and memory but the power passenger seat has been dropped. He thought that package would come down to around $870.
In contrast, the old Premium Sound System now becomes the "Entertainment Package" with the H/K audio and changer - I was given an estimate of $1,200 for that. The only other packages are "Lighting" and "Sunroof" and they may well stay the same.
I was told I'd hear pricing a week or two before the cars arrive so I'll try and post an update then.
