clk 55amg convertible top operation
My convertible top stopped working , I took it in and they told me it was the 2 main lift cylinders . I can get rebuilt ones from a out of state manufacturer for 230.00 each . Is it better to have them rebuilt locally or sent out and is the price average for this type of repair . Also is it advised to replace all the cylinders or only the leaking ones . Thank you JHR

Where are you located? How are your mechanical skills? I would agree to address all cylinders at once. If 2 have failed, others probably aren't far behind.
