I need to pressure test my coolant system. Is there an attachment for the reservoir? Is that even the correct place to pressurize? I have one of the standard coolant pressure testers, but no fittings that would work for the Mercedes...
PS- "take it to the dealer or call the dealer" isn't really much of a response on this forum. People come here to DIY or to get help or share experiences.

LexBrett...
Kudos for actually providing useful info here.
Plutoe...
Responses such as "Check any dealer the correct part is available!!" & "Nope!" fall way short of usefulness! Why bother?
Plutoe - so if I don't test thru the reservoir, how do you pressure test? A useful explanation or answer would be helpful. Simply stating 'nope' doesn't help... BTW - Not only am I 2+ hours away from the nearest MB dealer, I like to do this stuff myself.
Thanks LexBrett. The EBay link didn't return any results - would you have a link to a pressure test adapter and possibly a procedure? As I mentioned, I do have a coolant pressure test kit - just looking for adapter and procedure.

Hey Buddy,
Here is a pic of the adapter, but I do see that on ebay it is sold out. I'll try to do some digging today. But now you will know what these adapters look like,
Here is the pic of the item from ebay, they are a little har to find but def out there for sale
Hey guys.
I know it’s been a few years on this thread, but I wanted to thank you for all the great information you have shared.
amazingly helpful!
I was able to borrow the pressure kit including the proper adaptor from Autozone. I initially tried one from O’Rielly’s, but it didn’t have the proper adaptor for the C230.
For me it was a leak in the reservoir. Instantly found the leak and replaced the tank.
thank you so much for all the posts and all the help.
^ Any chance you can post the PN of the adapter used? That would help a lot of members here. Thanks in advance.
Also if you haven't done so, replace all the plastic pipes as well. They are known to go bad. The newer version pipes are made of a different grade of plastic. For me, the pipes went bad several years before the reservoir started turning into a biscuit.
