Drain fuel tank - What am I doing wrong?
I am scrapping my 2004 C270 CDI which has an almost full fuel tank which I need to empty.
I have seen several Youtube clips where disconnecting the fuel filter hose and turning the ignition key will pump fuel for about 10 seconds but when I try this nothing happens. If I reconnect the pipes the engine starts fine.
What am I doing wrong?
