switching side bumper lights
you should get the euro rub strips. they look alot better than having the amber lights, or clear marker lights. they are more expensive but for the look i think they are well worth it.
for the coupe you just pop the amber lenses off the rub strips. i know the sedan marker lights are different than the coupe. it should say in the owners manual though.

Maybe he lives in a state (one of 47-48) where it is actually illegal to have the Euro rub strips. I am forever amazed that the nation's one state so strict on pollution control devices pays no attention to US-DOT regulations that require side marker lamps since 1968.
out of any of these?

i dont really want to to blue (becuase it wont really match the other lights on my car) probably wanna to go for more of a whitish look
i need help with the new blubs (mind you i dont have bi xenon and im not intending on changing the look, i just want to light up the bumper lights a whitish color like everything else)and how to get this damn things off the lenses themselves in the first place. you said to just slide them off and that doesnt seem to be working..i dont want to break anything.

Is this true and can somebody else confirm this? Or is the company just trying to avoid not getting negative feedback in case they don't fit?
If somebody else (with a 2004.5 230k sedan) has already installed these, could you please let me know if the fitament is okay.
Thanks in advance everybody.

Of course, I've done a lot of searches and haven't found anybody with 2004.5 that put the clear bumper lens on successfully or even tried it for that matter.
Anybody?

What I'm referring to in my quote is more for the clear LENS not the bulb. I am aware of the bulb number and what kind of bulb I need to put in, however,...
after sending emails to ALL the companies on EBAY about the Clear Bumper LENS, they indicated that this wouldn't fit...
What my question to any MBWORLD.ORG member is...
are there any members that own a 2004.5 + 230k sedan that have purchased and INSTALLED the LENS (NOT THE BULB) on their car?
now im curious, what changed on the impact strip to cause this not to work for a 2004.5 but the previous years it does? visually the impact strips look the same to me on the 2002, 2003 and 2004 sedans. they look thicker on the 2005, but that may just be on the coupe that i noticed that.

Thanks for your help though. Appreciate it a lot.
