Sirius install
anyone install sirius into the W203's yet. at the C spot they were demonstrating it. some W211 owners currently have it installed, just wondering if anyone has it in the C. From the dealership i mean, not an aftermarket install.

I keep asking my dealer and the answer is always the same, it's not out yet. The E's probably started getting them first because it's a whole new radio for MB and it was probably easier to integrate. When I went to the C-Spot last year they had demos on the our cars but never materialized. Actually I'm quite happy with XM now and the Roady fits just under the radio fine and I can move it from car to car. I bet the new 2005 C's with the in-dash CD changer will have Sirius.

This is out!
I got a call last week!
The system is out. I have an 04 Sport Sedan and they want 800.00 for it to be installed.
I went to best buy and got an XM roady and FM modulator.
Total cost installed $200.00 Savings $600.00
They have got to be out of ther god dam minds to think I am going to pay 800.00 for satellite radio and then 13.00 a month fee for service.
What a waist of time!

They told me it just hangs of the fiber loop like the CD changer. I didn't like it because it can only display one 8 character line at a time and you have cycle thru several display to see the info and then get back to the station name I enjoy seeing the name/artist/station on my Roady. Since you have Comand it may display more info.

I've seen the integrated Sat Comands. Basically they took the blank button out (tv option for Euro or converted US), and replaced it with a Sat button. Saw them at the dealer in Virginia last week.
I have Sirius in my car through the COMAND's Aux input. They come with built in FM modulators too if you don't have aux input. Easy to install.

You guys are nuts! You are going to pay 800.00 for a satellite radio system that you then have to pay $13.95 a month for? The dam radio should be free!
I got XM Roady. It was 115.00 and the service is $9.95 a month. It changes colors to match the dash and works perfectly. I can take it to my next car.
There is no way that anyone of sane mental mind would pay 800.00 for satellite radio. You can replace all the audio components your car for that price!
I waited 10 months to find out this was 800.00, I AM PISSED!
