Chip tuning a C240
Hello all again. I had previously asked about the Kleeman Supercharger upgrade for the C240, but got very little response. I assume not many people at all have tried this given the cost and potential to really void the factory Mercedes warranty.
How about changing the Chip within the ECU? I've read websites site as Renntech and Upsolute about such an upgrade. Seems to offer modest increases in power. Anybody with experience with such an upgrade? Is it worth the money? Any problems with servicing at the Benz dealer? Would the factory Mercedes warranty be voided as well?
I welcome any thoughts. Thanks.

Oh come on. I realize that if I had the money, I probably would get a C32 AMG, Audi S4, or BMW M3. Heck, I would love to get the E55 AMG, the ultimate "family car". Unfortunately, that won't be anytime soon, unless somebody wants to buy me one for a gift!
When I bought the C240, I knew it was great in the comfort/quiet department, but weak in engine power. Now that I've discovered in this and other forums about all the possible mods people can perform on the C-class, I'm just curious about what may be possible with the old 2.6L V6 engine.
It sounds like that most people don't think it's worth any money to mod the C240. That's fine. I probably won't either, but I was just curious about anybody who may have done so and what their experience has been.
Thanks.

here's an upgrade for c240: kleemann supercharger. mbworld forum member brabuscclass has it done on his car.
here is a link to one of many posts about his c240 with kleemann supercharger also called c24k.
