C270 - Passenger seat belt sensor Goes off when HOT

Hello,

I have a C270 and when I leave the car in the sun, it thinks there's a passenger. If I fasten the seat belt it shuts up. After a bit (like 2min), I can unfasten the seat belt and it dosen't ring.
With this I conclude that it's temperature related...

I've searched the internet for a solution and the only aperent solution is to replace the sensor or recalibrate it at the dealer.

Do you have any suggestions? Can I recalebrate the seat sensor? or turn it off completely?

Best regards,
Rui Silva

I've replaced the passenger sensor myself. But just like at you at a high temperature it sometimes works, as if there is a passenger. I've received a new sensor from Germany in the original packaging. So the sensor is working. The sensor must be recalibrated after installation in accordance with Mercedes WIS.
