timing chain replacement

my C 200, w203 year 2005 has 125000 kms now. Should I have its timing chain and accessories changed or not. So far no abnormal sound though.

If no sound at start up (specially when cold) there is no need to.

thankyou but when i start from cold, it does give an extra noise in general and after 2 seconds, gets back to normal. i always thought this could be due to time it takes oil to start circulating. is this right, normal and nothing to worry about?

So it means this 2 seconds noise is normal coz it does subside and I always thought it is the time it takes for oil to circulate.

MB official workshops have tools to measure whether a chain is stretched. this can save you a lot of stress

Just take off the valve cover and check the timing marks for a peace of mind..
