I had noticed that the clock in my coupe was uncannily accurate. I was thinking I was going to have to dig out the manual to figure out how to change the clock for daylight savings time. The first time I plugged-in my phone after the time change--it updated the time! The time signal is coming from the cellular network! It makes sense when you think about it, but it's just another little cool feature of this car!

Do you have one of the Mercedes-Benz phone packages that are available with this car? If so, im curious what it looks like.. how its integrated in the car. Do you have pictures of the system?

Yep. I got the K2 (Timeport) package. It was expensive, but more reasonable than the V60. I almost never take the phone out of the cradle, so it really doesn't matter what the handset looks like. Visually, there isn't much to see. The phone docks in the upper part of the armrest. One more cool thing: if your multi-function display is in "phone mode" when you get a call, the caller ID of the person calling flashes across the display. Very cool.

There have been many posts on this subject. You can only use a phone you buy from Mercedes, as they code the firmware for compatibility. Yes--you get a full cell phone that you plug-in to use in the car (it also charges the battery) you can take it with you when you leave. Go to www.mbusa.com for more info.
