Bi-Xenon lights

2003 C230 Coupe
Bi-Xenon lights
Hi everyone. I recently installed Bi-xenon lights in my 2003 C230 Coupe. My problem is that teh lights turn on for a few seconds and turn off constantly or flicker on and off. As a result im a driving around with fog lights. I was wondering if there is any one in the NY brooklyn area or the surrounding area that has a star diagnostic system to enable xenon = present on my car? I went to 2 local indy mechanics that only work on European cars and they wanted 150 - 165 dollars for 5 minutes of work.

Welcome to the W203 coupe club, and the Bi-xenon club. 
As strange as it sounds, you may want to try the dealer. Mine only charged for 30 minutes of work.
Hopefully you can get it done really soon, as you won't exactly be able to drive around at night at this point.

DAS programming screens.
Likely have changed since this was written.
1. EIS- Electronic Ignition Switch
2. Control Unit Adapations
3. Read Coding and change if necessary
4. All Codes
5. Xenon Headlamp- (Change to "present")
Suggest you make friends with a local indy mechanic with SDS (DAS) .
Bring beer or tequila near the end of the day, and see what happens.

If you're ever in the DC/NOVA area I would do it for a good beer! I did find on my car if i turned the lights on waited like 15 seconds then started the car they would not error message which was helpful when playing around with hid kits and such before I bought BIX.
