2001 C240 A/C Compressor

2001 C240 A/C Compressor
Hi Friends
This is my first posting w.r.to 2001 c240. Recently A/C stopped working, and blows only hot air. A/C compressor front plastic piece is broken. (picture attached)
When this happened (compressor pulley plastic broken) idler pulley chewed up and belt broken into pieces. Replaced belt and idler pulley and driving without any issues (except AC). I think, I drove more than 1000 miles and I observe the compressor pulley is also running as part of the belt.
Do u think compressor is seized? (compressor pulley plastic broken , and at the same time compressor pulley is still running)
Is it advisable to use the car?Appreciate all your help and thanks in advance.
