c230...what's the little half of the headlight do?

Can someone explain where the high beam, low beam, and fog lights are on the C230k? What is housed in the the smaller globule (what do you guys call it?) of the headlight? And where are the turn signal lights on the front? Which light is used for the daytime headlights, and can that be turned on/off?

Thanks

The larger globules are the low beams (H-7 halogen bulbs), which are the daytime running lights. They can be turned off using the steering wheel buttons to select the proper menu. The turn signals are in the top portion of the same globule. The smaller globules contain the high beams (H-7 halogen bulbs), and the bulbs used for the parking (Euorpean dity lights) lights. The fog lights are the small lights under the bumper.
