Wipers Not Working

Hi. Just got a 2002 C240. Could you please confirm that this is a W203? Thanks

My windshield wipers don't work. I have checked and replaced all the relevant fuses, but still no go. When I got the car the wipers were not in the correct position at rest, but he told me they worked for him (good friend so no complaints about being misled). But when I tried to fix them I noticed that they did not move at all. Not even in the wash/wipe mode. The washers came on but the wipers didn't move. Could someone please let me know that else I could do to try and troubleshoot the problem?

Thank you very very much.

I will try to located the relays and check/have them checked.
As for my VIN - should I post it in this thread or somewhere else (like in my profile?)?

Thanks

EDIT: I checked out SAM relay information but did not see anything mentioned for wipers. Very possibly not accurate what I Googled. I mean I totally believe you and it makes sense that the motor would have a relay but I cannot even find a reference to wiper motor for the relay. Could you point me to some better resources. I will keep checking on my end. Thanks

Still no wipers after replacing SAMs

I went ahead and got 2 new SAMs for the wipers. Still doesn't work. But I do notice them moving sometimes. And when they do they do not park in the right place.

At this point I don't care where they stop, I just need to get them working.

Desperately need some help please.

Thanks
