I recently had the earth terminal on my rear left flicker burn out. So I replaced the unit along with the plug I got from Merc and the Female connectors. In exactly the order as the burnt connector. Then I re installed all the items and my brake light flickers when I hit the indicator? I traced the wire and it is exactly the old one was wired. I then tested the voltage and the wrong wire gives a voltage when the indicator is depressed. Is there a re set on the software somehwere that needs to be re set when one changes the unit on the light unit?
