Hi All,

New to this, but looks like the best place to get answers! I have a c180k 04 plate with panoramic roof. The roof blind stopped working and one of the plastic clips snapped. Someone had a look at it and now the whole sunroof is not opening at all! Does anyone know roughly how much it will cost to get repaired (both blind and roof) as obviously don't want to be ripped off as an old car. You can hear the motor whirring, so I don't think it is that. I think he may of disabled the roof to stop the blind hanging down, but not sure.

Secondly, the boot open malfunction is showing despite the boot being closed. Also at the same time, when arming the alarm, the indicators no longer flash, but alarm light inside is on. When you press the fob to open, the indicators flash. I guess this could be related to boot open problem as they both appeared same morning.

Any help appreciated!

Depending on the VIN the roof fix will be $650 plus---the electrical issues diagnosed with the proper diagnostics---$150 plus parts!

Ouch! I was told if roof goes wrong it can get quite pricey. Now to decide if worth it compared to value of the car...
