I removed the Double-DIN audio head unit from my 2005 C230 and found that it appears to have two antenna wires and two corresponding connection points. (You can see the connection points in the attached picture. The connections are on the left side of the unit below the intake for the cooling fan.) The connection on the left is black and the one on the right is yellow.

I'm sure one is for the radio antenna and I'm assuming that is the black one.

I am not sure what purpose the other serves. If it is a GPS antenna, that would be great if I can find an adapter that would allow it to work with my Kenwood DNX 6180. (The Kenwood antenna connector is a different shape.)

I'll keep searching, but if anyone knows the answer I would appreciate some guidance.

Those are FAKRA connectors, one for the radio antenna and the other for the GPS antenna under the dash. Even units without NAV have the GPS antenna connection. Your kenwood should have GPS antennas available if it has NAV, check fleabay

I received a response on another board and I thought I would add it here in case it will help someone else in the future:

Black = FM
Blue = GPS
Mustard = Diversity Antenna
Green = Video in

So, the "mustard" (yellow) connector is either for GPS or diversity antenna. I found a blue Fakra connector in the trunk, so I suspect the mustard connector is a diversity antenna.
