A friend knows of an MB tech-owned '06 C230 Sport for sale. New balance shaft, recent trans service. What should I worry about on this car?

Worry? No point in worrying.
They say Life is a Mystery, and so is the issues that can crop up
so mysteriously. Ha.
Good news is, if you are somewhat handy, you can fix so much yourself.
And lots of used parts are now available.
Keeping my beetch alive is always a challenge, but just once drive through the mountains on new tires and it's love all over again.
