Just when I thought I was out...you guys drag me right back in.
Sold my '02 C320 wagon a few months ago. Was planning on getting either a first gen Cayenne Turbo or an X5 4.8is or preferably diesel...need something that can tow our travel trailer, but is also interesting to drive too. Looked for a couple months and ended up with an '09 ML550. It's got a tow hitch, DVD system in the rear for the kids, paddle shifters and a V8 that is strong, smooth, and quiet (a little too quiet, but I'll get to that soon enough). The PO is as meticulous as can be and the car looks like it was just driven off the showroom floor. The 550 is actually just a tick slower than the Cayenne Turbo (450 hp vs. 382 hp), but more than 400# lighter. I got a great deal on it because the PO was getting ready to trade it in. I'll post some pix up later. Thanks for the support, information, guidance over the years. I'll probably be hanging out in the W164 section mostly now.
