Road & Track test of 2005 C-Class
hey all,
while i was waiting for an oil change on one of our company cars, i was reading this months issue of Road & Track they had.
They tested the 2005 C-Class sedan. And all they had to say about everything was GOOD.
New front suspension setup, which I think is a 3-link setup or something like that. Ride is even softer than before, I think it said about a 20-30% increase in ride difference.
They didn't mention anything about the C350 or the new V-6 going into the C-Class.
However, the great part was the QUALITY and build of the car. They said it is a BIG improvement over the current w203. They've used better materials, everything feels solid, just like a MB should. So they gave props to MB for recognizing their problems and solving them with a much more refined entry MB.
So all in all, EXCELLENT review of the C-Class

I think page 48 or somewhere around there...I swear, it's in R&T 
I believe MB will be king or near king :p in due time. Good start for them is the editors of most, if not all magazines, have recognized that MB is using higher quality materials and a much more solid build/feel than previous years. As well as their initial quality survey has jumped many places than last years placement, so all good signs

Maybe I will switch back from the E Class since I haven't liked the feel of the steering and brakes as well as on the C. My main complaint on my C320 was the hard seats.
