2005 M.B. C240 AWD, rear coil springs broke again..why should I replace them anyway..

I have a 2005 M.B. C240 AWD.. I have replaced both rear coil springs about three years. I found the lower part of the springs cracked off so I ordered new ones, installed them thinking it won't happen again.
So, now they are broken, in the same place, again. I could replace them again but I have a question....
Why should I replace them? I ask because the lower part of the spring is what's broken.. meaning the spring still has stiffness in its pocket it sits in... so why not keep it there? Will the tires suffer for it? All I hear now is a springy bong sound when I hit a high hill or a pothole.
What I'm looking for is a legitimate reason to replace these coil springs for the second time..
Keep in mind, as I wrote earlier, the spring is broken at the very bottom so it is still in it's place serving some suspension purpose if that makes sense...
Thx!

The broken springs will effect the ride hight and handling.

That makes sense..
Do you think it will ruin the tires? tread damage?

Because your car's handling with a broken spring is compromised and in an emergency situation the car will behave in an unexpected way that could potentially kill or injure someone. Instead of driving around with broken springs why not apply some good quality rust proofing before installing the new one?

I'd convert to coilovers if you're having repeated issues. That might help.
