2001 C320
C320 accelrates on its own
I have a 2001 C320 and it will accelerate without pushing the gas peddle whether in neutral or drive. It will decelerate when the brake is engaged. I have replaced the throttle body and it improved for a few miles but then recurred. I have not been able to find any other information on this so if anyone has experienced this please let me know what you did to fix it. Thank you, TTT

Hmm.. stuck throttle could be a bunch of things. Not a good thing to go driving with, that's for sure. Depending on your level of mechanical skills, you will just have to trace it through the full intake parts for any gunk, broken parts etc.
Just as a heads-up, you've inadvertently posted in the wrong forum (this one is for the current series; W205). You may want to try posting again the the 203 forum to see if anyone else has suffered similar issues.
