CLC220 CDI loss of fuel economy and rattle
CLC220 cdi large drop in fuel economy. Pretty sure its not the thermostat as it does still reach 80-90 sometimes.
The economy slowly dropped from around 45mpg average, to about 30-32 which is where its at now.
Only other symptom I have is a plasticy (i think!) sounding rattle under the bonnet/dash somewhere when accelerating hard.

The car is also about a month overdue on the service, couldnt be avoided sadly. Its booked in but the problem started a while before the service was due.Any ideas?
