Xenon headlight problem anyone else??
I own a 2001 C320 with the factory xenon headlights. Recently I have been noticing that my light pattern at night seems to have changed. The light pattern is now limited to only about 15ft in front of the car. Both xenon lamps are working and light up fine. But they almost seem like they are pointing way down such that they focus too near to the car. I know that all factory xenon light have some kind of "auto leveler" sensor that points the lights at a certain angle wrt to the (road?). My guess is that this angle sensor on my car is not working and it tilts the beam's angle more down than it should be. So visibility at night is greated limited now. Road markers beyond 20 ft don't even light up now. And I remember very clearly when I first got the car that the lights light up a same stretch of road a lot better than it does now.
Does anyone else have experienced the same problem? Any advise would be appreciated.
Cheers
i think it would be best and the most easy way just to bring the car back to the dealer to check.
