Trunk Cargo Net - Rear Sill-C230 Sedan - Any suggestions for hardware installation?

I want to keep costs down, so I bought a generic net on Amazon for $14.99:
I intend to use OEM hardware to install "D Rings" in the rear of the trunk floor. The part number is 203-860-00-14. According to the instructions in the link, I need to:
1. Remove the 16MM vertical nuts under the rear sill area (located under the rear slits in the trunk carpet)
2. Install the rear D-rings (with the ring holder part of the bracket facing forward)
3. Replace and tighten those two nuts
4. Replace the storage tray and carpet, pulling the D-rings up through the corresponding slits.
I need to determine the best location and method for attaching the upper anchors. The net I bought from Amazon includes attachment hardware shown in the first picture.

The kit also includes some screws for securing these to the car. I'm trying to determine the best place and method for attaching them. I this picture of the back wall of the trunk, I can see a black plastic rectangle that appears like it will pop out if pried with a screwdriver.

Has anyone installed a net and used this area to attach an anchor? I don't want to drill into anything and cause damage. Also, there may not be enough clearance for the anchor from the kit and I'm wondering whether there is a Mercedes part that might be a better fit.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

This shows the attachment of (what the seller says) is the OEM sill net for a W203. I think they are using the attachment point that I illustrated in my first post. However, the angle and the size of the photo don't show the attachment hardware clearly.
If anyone has the OEM sill net installed in their W203 sedan, I will greatly appreciate a good photo of the upper attachment hardware.
Thanks

Do you happen to know the part number for this part?
Thanks

Hardware from kit trimmed to fit trunk panel
The plastic "rivet" can be pried out of the trunk trim panel using a small flat-headed screwdriver. Once out of the trunk you can separate it into two parts. The part with the opening is reinserted and serves as an anchor for the attachment hardware.
The "plug" is no longer needed.
Here's the net installed on the upper anchor points.
I found a two-pack of the D-Rings on ebay for $9.97 shipped. They won't arrive for about a week, but I should be good to go when they do.
