For anyone who has replaced the leaking conductor plate plug because of leaking o-rings [part# 203 540 02 53].
I'm wondering about how much ATF did you lose is any when the plug is removed.

That would depend on the leak. When I had mine replaced it was less than a spoonful. In other words it was negligible.

Not the plug/pig tale that the cables attach to, but the 13 pin plug that is bolted into the transmission [see photo].
I want to replace that before it leaks and wicks fluid into the control unit.

It shouldn't leak more than a quart. So if you have spare fluid on hand and the dipstick tool to check the fluid level afterwards, just top it off as needed when you have the new part on there.
