WOT kills boost until engine is restarted M111
No CEL but shows P203a-000 when I read the codes, which is a code which presumably means, not enough fuel..? Or something to do with the recirculating air valve,
but I replaced it recently with a used one, was working ok for a while.
So fuel filter and pump replaced recently, new Bremi MAF, new 02 sensors etc.
Running ASP, and when I put the pedal all the way down, rev to the limit,
tink! The boost is gone. Stop restart and it's back!
As long as I don't get on the pedal too hard I can keep boost up to a certain point.
But need to pass smog and have a wierd feeling this might
prevent it. Or not?
Any help is appreciated.
Wondering about the MAP sensor, it's never been replaced, and apparently if it sends to high of
signal to the ECU it will kill the boost.
How does one measure the voltage here?

For future reference.
On a supercharged C230, apparently P203a-000 IS related to the recirculating
air valve. I replaced with a new one and the problem is solved.
Incidentally, original part # is A1110980109 Bosch pn 0280750045.
Irregardless what sone websites say, 1110980050 is the superseded part number,
Bosch pn 0280750467 which is what I ordered.
Ordering the Bosch pn will save you like a thousand dollars over the best price you'll ever get from
Mercedes, and it's the VERY SAME PART! Made by Bosch.
The part is used on 02-05 C230's, though it's mounted directly to the SC On the 03-05.
Also used in 01-04 SLK's.
Oh, thanks you! I'm so glad someone helped me out in my hour of need!
Oh wait, no one did!? Ah yes, it's just me talking to myself.
Your welcome.

Not in this instance. Problem came back, and got new Recirc valve under warranty, and then yet again...
and it was finally fixed with a NOS MAF from like 2002 new in the box from Siemens.
I'd had a number of aftermarket ones prior to that, all were garbage.
Running great now.
