Fuel pressure and injector spray pattern
I have a 2003 c240 4matic and I recently had my fuel injectors cleaned because I had been having a rough idle problem. I had to replace one of them because it was leaking and I reinstalled them I put the fuel rail back on and had no change in the idle issue. I checked the fuel pressure and it was right at 53 PSI which I think is at the bottom of the acceptable range. I pulled the fuel rail back off and checked the spray pattern for all the injectors and it was not really atomizing like I have seen on videos but more like 2 streams of slightly atomized fuel. I was wondering if the fuel pressure being at the low end of the acceptable range might be causing the spray pattern to not be like it should. I have checked for vacuum leaks, new plugs, wires, throttle body is clean, and car has no codes so the rough idle is not caused by one of those issues.
