LED bulbs will output less light than your existing halogens and will trigger the bulb out warning if they consume less than 55w

This is the description of the LED H7 bulbs I got off eBay. " CREE 252W 25200LM LED H7 Headlight Kit Low Beam Head Fog Light Bulbs 6000K White" The exact listing is no longer available, but I would assume you find something close and you will have good luck. Now to be clear, I have the bi-xenon headlights and the H7s are the high beam. However, the LEDs are way brighter than the H7 high beam I replaced. Stupid bright.

If those bulbs are 252W, that would melt the wiring in seconds. Also 25200 lumens is some 9 times brighter than HIDs. Is this even possible?

Nope, not with a single bulb. That's why any factory LED setup you see on new cars has a string of LEDs and lenses not just one. In terms light output per bulb, HID is still king. Some people's eyes are fooled into believing LEDs are brighter than halogen because the color temperature is usually higher but color temp /= light output.

Its marketing. I am sure that you have installed in your house "60 watt" LED bulbs. They really only consume 9 watts. I'll admit that the eBay listing is exaggerated, but its what I bought, and I am very pleased especially compared to the H7s. The reason I posted it was a reference for what I bought. I had done a little research on the technology that went into the "bulbs" I bought and they use CSP LED chips. Each bulb uses 12 of them. Each chip at 350mA produces 137 lumens. Each bulb would then produce 1644 lumens and consume roughly 60 watts. They can go up to 2904 lumens if pushed harder, I have not measured how much current mine are pulling. Datasheet attached.
