Help after pothole accident please

Hi
I hit a pothole and it cause the tie bar to separate from the part on the wheel. Nothing looks broken, just separated. Is it possible to pop it back in again or do I need to replace something. Looks like I would have to somehow line it up and then lower the car back down on it.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the tip.

Thanks. But I don't think it is the sway bar. It's the one that controls the steering. Right now the wheel on that side. cannot be turned.

So is it not the sway bar?

Thanks

Take it to a mechanic. You don't just pound suspension components back in.

Why not? If it was pounded in to install it what's wrong with "reinstalling" it the same way?

I asked you a question. Why the snarky remark? If you say you can't just pound it back it would be nice to know why. Like perhaps you need a special tool to press fit the bushing, or if it pops out like it did you need
to replace the bushing. That would be helpful. Or maybe you really don't know that much about it and were just making a general comment?

Thanks

I'm not trying to be snarky. I'm just not sure your hammer is big enough to pound it back in.

Still with the wise guy remarks?
How big a hammer is necessary?
What about other tools I could use?
Are you actually being serious or trying to be funny? I need help with this problem, not jokes about a big enough hammer.
If you are not serious to try and help please don't reply.
Thanks

What car is this for?

Take a picture and post it!

It sounds like the Tie Rod End came out?

The Tie Rod End is the part above the one with the arrows.

No, you can not just pound a Tie Rod End "back in".

Below is a link on the Front suspension on many W203 cars.
We have NO IDEA WTF vehicle you are talking about.
Fwiw, no, there is not just one front suspension that is used by every vehicle ever produced. Mega sigh...
