Need help with Clicking or Clunking Suspension (already read sticky) - Video Attached
I need your help! I'm having a knocking or clicking sound coming from my front driver side suspension. I read the sticky but am having trouble diagnosing the problem.
Sound appears when I'm driving, most often when going over small bumps in the road or going over a speed bump. I can also press down on the hood and replicate the noise. I've demonstrated that in the video attached below. If I turn the wheels all the way left or right, and press down, there is no sound. Only when the wheels are pointing straight ahead.
The front control arms and bushings were replaced within the last 6 months, and the sway bar links were replaced at 110k miles (about 5 years ago). Currently the car is at 140k miles. The struts or shocks were replaced at about 100k miles.
I removed the wheel and attempted to look at any loose nuts or bolts, and even tugged on the control arms and sway bar links. Nothing felt loose.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
