Existing stock phone is completely outdated.
Check on here or benzworld, there's a great old detailed thread on installing a bluetooth device that works with stock radio, called a Parrot or something? You'll have to do a bit of searching.
I'd always meant to to do it, never got to it.
OR replace the radio, used to be the $600+ JVC was the thing, no idea now.
I just have the Audio 10 which is the CD version for these cars, came stock in Europe, plug and play works with steering wheel controls, which can be purchased online.
A quick search, I see there's a video for a 2007.

You really need to find the article I'm talking about.
And know this, <2005 is DTB bus for the radio etc, for the steering wheel controls.
2005+ is whats called MOST bus, so you want instructions for dtb bus install 2001-2004.

They are out there. You'll need to pull the dash apart (not that hard with instructions)
and splice a bunch of wires from the radio.
