P2054 code turning on check engine light
P2054 Continuous camshaft adjustment, Incorrect position of the exhaust camshaft [P0020]
The car runs and idles smoothly and normally, no difference from when before the light came on. After clearing the codes, it comes back shortly after, just 5-15 minutes of driving. My mechanic doesn't seem to know where the issue lies, he just asked me to revv the car in neutral while he looks under the bonnet and he said it all looks normal and smooth.
Should I just ignore this problem or should I replace some sensor/part?

i have this similar code/issue
code P001762 - the position of the exhaust camshaft (cylinder bank 1) is implausible relative to the position of the crankshaft. The signal comparison is faulty
P222900 - The pressure sensor has short circuit to positive
I know it needed to be fixed but am occupied - the car is still running ok - the first engine indicator popped up at dashboard , mechanic said can still run so that time was abt to travel for vacation so we ran around 345Km back and forth and close to 1000 km after the 2nd engine indicator showed up
ok before that engine indicator got popped out (after the normal engine service with shell fully synthetic oil) - went to mechanic and nothing found and he did some reset saying clearing history from the scanner and engine indicator disappear - note mechanic said there is slight leaking from the engine oil but not to worry
Now it still running as we go nearby area only but how long it last when the 2 codes was issued by mechanic and what are the next symptoms that can we expect, how long can it run and about how much to fix it.
Pls assist to advise anyone who had similar issue and where did you all fix and how much - looking at Singapore and Malaysia to fix it.
Thanks in advance
i had researched and could be the same as this issue/screenshot
Note - before this
** before this had cleaned and repaired the coolant host/system not sure if this related or ???

I’m not a fortune teller but others past experiences seem to shine a light on needing a major service except this time you got a code to go with it.
