c230 sport sedan
stock stereo on non-Bose C230
What are the details on the stock stereo non-Bose in the 2004 C230 kompressor sport sedan. Speaker size, amp power. I noticed an 8" sub in the rear deck, this thing puts almost nothing and is barely worth being their. Any info on upgrading would be great.
Does anyone have info on removing the rear seat and rear deck so that I can get to the sub and reomve it and put in something better with a more powerful amp? I am a big car stereo nut and have a really nice custom setup I installed in my other car. I just didn't want to take apart the mercedes but I do want to get a little better bass so any suggestions are appreciated.
I am new to Mercedes so don't know much about them yet.
thanks,
Mike

There are alot of threads regarding the stereo, speakers, HU R & R, installs, etc on this forum; some with pics. It probably would be faster for you to do a
on your own then to wait for all the different answers. Session posted HU instructions, Buellwinkel did some work on speakers, etc. This is just to list a few. Happy hunting.
