CD Changer Problem

I have a new cd changer problem. The changer is totally dead. The magazine will not eject at all and there is no noise from it at all. The whole system is dead. There is no sound at all from the speakers even if I switch to radio mode. I removed the changer from the fiber loop and my radio works fine after that. Could it be the fiber optic cable from head unit to the changer? Even if it is this, shouldn't the changer atleast eject the magazine?

When I installed my CD changer with a bad FO cable, the radio and magazine change worked normally but the HU said there was no CD changer. Does the power supply to the changer still have voltage?

Lars is on target. Check the power connector and make sure it has voltage....if not, check fuses. If there is power, reseat the connector and see if the unit returns to function.
Was this dealer installed or one of your mods?

The changer was factory installed. I will check it once I get back home next week. The magazine is not ejecting to I assume it's the changer or the comand unit suppling the power to the changer. I'll have to get a new power source if it's the Comand. Can it be the f/o cable? But I would think the power to it should still work.
